An honors graduate of North Carolina State University, Dr. George Whiteside received a Doctorate of Dental Science from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) School of Dentistry. He then relocated to Fort Myers and began private practice.

Truly dedicated to exceptional dentistry, Dr. Whiteside continually broadens his skills through advanced studies in implant, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He has completed advanced training with the inventor of Lumineers in Santa Maria, California and placed more Lumineers than any other dentists in the Southwest Florida area in 2007.

Additionally, Patterson Dental, the distributor of CEREC 3D technology, appointed him as a Mentor and Coach to other dentists. He is one of the most active users of the CEREC technology in Florida.

Dr. Whiteside is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Society, and Southwest Florida Dental Society, holding board positions in several of these organizations.
